Sportfishing events planned

KARACHI, Nov 3: Agha’s Sportfishing has announced the dates for the two major offshore fishing tournaments for the season. The Karachi Offshore Sportfishing Tournament (TKO) which is in it’s 18th year will be held on Nov 11 while Pakistan Billfish Tournament (PBT) which is in it’s 11th year, will be held on Nov 25.

Anglers of either sex who have offshore angling experience can participate in both these events. For the TKO, children from 8 to 15 years can also compete for the child angler champion trophy. The PBT is for the heavy-weight anglers who can handle the brute fighting force of marlin and tuna. Registrations for the TKO would start from Monday, Nov 5 and for the PBT from Nov 19. Both events will start and end at the Mubarrak village.—Agencies
