Asif shines for victors

LAHORE, Oct 31: Six-goal Asif Tiwana propelled Millat Tractors to a 8-7 win against Blokes in the Lahore Polo Club Low Goal Cup on Wednesday.

Asif was the sole scorer for the winners as the remaining two goals came through handicap. For the losers, Munawar Baig, Rehmat Nadir and Ali Hashim Rizvi scored two each while Ali Riaz added one goal.

Four-goal Junaid Ahmad helped Learning Alliance beat Sherwood 8-3. Besides Junaid the other scorers for the winners were Bilal Haye (3) and Kasim Ahmad Khan (1). Mohsin Atta Khan Khosa (2) and Zuhaib Tariq (1) pumped in goals for the losers.

Pony Express defeated Zalzala 9 1/2-4.
