KARACHI, Oct 31: The two-day trials to select Karachi Region’s Under-16 team will be held at two centres of the city from Friday, the Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) said on Wednesday.

The trials will be held at the PCB Academy Ground and Landhi Gymkhana Ground. Boys born on or after Dec 31, 1991 are eligible to attend the trials.

After the trials a 15-member squad will be picked from each ground on Nov 4. The selected players will attend a four-day training camp conducted by former Test off-spinner Tauseef Ahmed. After the camp, practice matches will be organised between the two teams from Nov 9 to 11.

On the basis of performance Karachi Region’s Under-16 team will be picked for the national under-16 championship.
