NAWABSHAH, Oct 28: Activists of the Jeay Sindh Qaumi Mahaz Nawabshah held a hunger strike camp outside the press club here on Sunday against the registration of fake cases against Dr Safdar Sarki.

The protesters were carrying placards and banners and chanting slogans against the government.

Sarfaraz Memon, Ali Raza Khaskheli, Shabbir Soomro,

Nisar Wasan, Sultan Rind and others told newsmen that Dr Safdar, central general secretary of the JSQM, had been missing for more than 20 months and now when he reappeared after the notice of the Supreme Court, fake cases were registered against him.

They demanded immediate withdrawal of fake cases against Dr Safdar and his release and warned of a series of protests in case of failure.
