3 killed in different incidents

TAXILA, Oct 18: Three persons were killed and a dozen others injured in different incidents here on Thursday.

A passenger van driver died here in a road accident in the jurisdiction of Hassanabdal Police Station.

Police sources said that Amjad was driving his passenger van (MR 4403) on Hazara road when a car (IDK 3561) coming from opposite side collided head on with the van killing the van driver on the spot.

The car driver managed to escape from the scene. Hassanabdal Police registered a case against the driver and started investigations.

ONLINE ADDS: A vehicle crushed a wage earner to death. In another incident, a person died after taking liquor whereas one of his accomplices is reported to be in critical condition.

At least eleven persons were injured when a Toyota Hiace overturned.
