LPG prices frozen

Published October 4, 2007

ISLAMABAD, Oct 3: The Oil and Gas Regulatory Authority (Ogra) has put a freeze on the price of the 11.8kg cylinder at Rs654 in Azad Kashmir, Fata and the Northern Areas and Rs624 for the rest of the country. The Ogra took the decision on the instruction of the federal government.

“The federal government in the larger public interest has decided to advise Ogra to maintain the LPG producer price for the month of October 2007 at the current level so that the LPG consumer price does not increase during Ramazan,” said a petroleum ministry letter issued to the Ogra chairman.
