MIRPURKHAS : Two held in kidnapping case

MIRPURKHAS, Oct 3: The Taluka police have arrested two accused nominated in kidnapping case, on Wednesday. Report said Taluka police lodged a case under section 365-A, 109 and 34 PPC on the complaint of Allah Bachayo Siyal against accused Abdul Sattar Lashari, Tharo Khan Lashari, Yaqoob Arain and four unidentified men after the lapse of 12 days.

The complainant stated in the FIR that four accused kidnapped Mohib Ali Siyal and Ameer Bux Dahri near Jhillori town on the behest of accused Abdul Sattar Lashari, Tharo Khan Lashari and Yaqoob Arain about 12 days back. One of the kidnapee, Ameer Bux Dahri managed to escape from Qazi Ahmed and reached his village, while Mohib Siyal was still in custody of kidnappers.

Police arrested two accused Abdul Sattar Lashari and Tharo Khan Lashari nominated in the case.

Meanwhile, DIG Mirpurkhas Pir Mohammad Abbasi said he had suspended the SHO Taluka Allan Khan Abbasi and also issued show cause notice for his failure to recover the kidnapped youth Mohib Siyal and for not registering kidnapping case.

He further said he had constituted a police team headed by the SP Investigation, Mirpurkhas, Noorul Haq Rind for the recovery of Mohib Siyal. He was talking to a group of journalists in his office here on Wednesday.

The DIG said his priority was to prevent criminals from committing offence. He said patrolling and checking of police had been intensified in Mirpurkhas division.

Referring to traffic system, he said the number of personnel had been increased, while supervising police officer entrusted to improve traffic system. He said on his directives legal action had been taken against narcotic peddlers and narcotic dens in Umerkot.
