Court orders arrest of inspector


LARKANA, Sept 24: The Larkana circuit bench of the Sindh High Court on Monday ordered arrest of Abdullah Buriro, a police inspector, on charges of breaking into the house of Altaf Hussain Shaikh and keeping his maternal uncle in illegal detention.

The petitioner said that the inspector had broken into his house on Sept 19 They picked him, his maternal uncle Nasrullah and brother-in-law Raza Mohammed after ransacking the house and maltreating the inmates, he said. They were taken to the inspector’s guest house where the inspector later released Raza Mohamemd and Altaf Hussain but shifted Nasrullah to an undisclosed place. Since then there had been no clue to his whereabouts, the petitioner said.—BoC
