KARACHI: Section 144

KARACHI Sept 11: The Sindh government has imposed Section 144 across the city for a month, which bans rallies, processions and other public gatherings, says a statement on Tuesday.

“The home department has clarified that the ban in question has been imposed for thirty (30) days under section 144 CrPC with effect from September 10, 2007, hence no rallies shall be allowed out on the below mentioned roads for thirty days,” says the statement issued by the provincial home department.

The statement mentions all the 12 major roads including Sharae Faisal.
