KARACHI, Sept 6: Nuclear scientist Dr Abdul Qadeer Khan, who landed at Karachi airport on Thursday, is likely to visit a private university hospital here on Friday for a check-up.

A source privy to the movement of the scientist said that soon after his arrival Dr Qadeer was taken to a relative’s house in Mohammad Ali Housing Society.

The controversial scientist has been under house arrest for the last four years.

The source maintained that Dr Qadeer was well as far as his health was concerned. He was operated upon for prostate cancer about a year ago at the Aga Khan University Hospital and had been brought back to the city for a routine check-up, the source added.
