Pakistan to import DAP from Tunisia

ISLAMABAD, Sept 4: Pakistan will import DAP from Tunisia to overcome shortage of fertiliser and to export horticulture, halal meat and other agriculture products to Tunisia.

This was agreed in a meeting between Federal Minister for Food, Agricultural and Livestock and Tunisian Minister for Industry, Energy, Small and Medium Enterprises, Afif Chelbi here on Tueday.

An official announcement issued here said during the meeting both sides agreed to exchange agricultural policy studies, impact evaluation and research in agriculture extension approaches, technology transfer through joint ventures and change of scientists/scientific information.

Mr Bosan showed his interest for signing of MOU between two countries in the field of agriculture, trade and investments and will also forward a draft of the MOU to government of Tunisia for its consideration.
