ISLAMABAD, Sept 3: A trade delegation of Islamabad Chamber of Commerce and Industry (ICCI) has left for China to explore market access for various products under the free trade agreement (FTA).

The FTA is operational between the two countries since July 2007, which allows trading of goods on preferential duties. Both countries are encouraging businessmen for making interaction to get maximum benefits out of the treaty.

According to the press release of the chamber, the delegation was led by ICCI President Nasir Khan. They would firstly visit the business community of of Xinjiang Uygur ( Kashgur) to increase the bilateral trade between the two countries.

Chinese businessmen showed great interest to invest in Pakistan during their recent visit to Pakistan. They said that they want to invest in Pakistan in various sectors, especially auto, information technology, as well as agriculture. They said that they want to establish more industries with latest equipment.
