PESHAWAR, Aug 22: Awami National Party’s women wing vice-president Sitara Imran has blamed the government for what she called the deteriorating law and order situation.

During a membership campaign in Mathra village on Wednesday, she urged the government to form an interim government and hold fair, free and transparent election.

She said the deteriorating law and order in the country was due to the ill-conceived policies of the government.

The only way to give an end to prevalent crisis was the formation of an interim government that could hold free elections and hand over power to elected representatives, she added.

Zahira Khattak claimed that her party had become a political force and would secure landslide victory in the coming election.
