NAUSHAHRO FEROZE, Aug 22: The forest department with the help of police reclaimed illegally occupied two hundred acres of forest land on Tuesday.

According to reports, range forest officer Kandiaro, Bakhat Hussain Jatoi along with staff and police got vacated the land occupied by Malang Jatoi, Amanullah Jatoi, Bashir Jatoi, Gulab Jatoi and Khamiso Sargani in Bhonur forest and Mohabbat Dero forest.

The range forest officer said that notices have been served to the occupants of the land and all the forest land would be vacated from illegal occupation.

SDO BEATEN: SDO Hesco Kandiaro was beaten by a tapedar and his goons on Tuesday.

SDO Hesco Kandiaro lodged an FIR under section 353, 147, 148, 337-A(i), F(i) PPC with Kandiaro police that he along with staff went to disconnect the electricity of tapedar Imran Bux for non-payment of bill amounting to Rs20,000, despite final notice.

He claimed that the tapedar and some other unidentified persons stopped them from cutting the power line and beat him up.
