KARACHI, Aug 10: Five ships carrying crude oil, containers and to load cement are due at the outer anchorage on Saturday, according to KPT sources. Berthing activity at the wharves was active where five ships, Thor Guardian to load cement, Wan Hai-301, Corin Thaikos, Hyundai Jumbo to unload and load containers and Conti Express to unload and load general cargo were berthed.

Four ships, Oel Trust, Y.M. Star, Kapitain Byanking and Vevgeenix Titov departed on Friday, while Wan Hai-301, Conti Express, Mol Asante and Dimitris are due to sail out on Saturday.

Owing to heavy rains during the last two days cargo handling activity was relatively slow and fell to 45,584 tons comprising 20,624 tons of export tonnage and 24,960 tons of imported cargo.

The following ships are due on Saturday: Lalazar to offload crude oil, Soon Fu Calvin P. Titus and Oel Shreyas with containers and Salina to load cement.
