KARACHI, July 16: Owais Rehmani’s fine batting display guided Nazimabad Gymkhana to the 5th Pak-China Gold Cup quarter-final as they thrashed Young Pak Flag Cricket Club by nine wickets at the Airport Stadium on Sunday.

Owais struck 14 boundaries in his unbeaten 88 while Zakir Malik finished 59 not out as Nazimabad Gymkhana reached the target of 147 in the 15th over for the loss of one wicket.

Earlier, Faraz Patel, Sajid Mirza and Mohammad Junaid took three wickets each as Young Pak Flag CC were dismissed for 146 in the 30th over. Adeel Ashfaq was the highest scorer with 42.
