LAHORE, July 9: The Pakistan Hockey Federation (PHF) has called 35 probables to attend a training camp in Islamabad from July 18 for a four-nation tournament to be held in Beijing, China from Aug 8 to 13.

Besides Asian Games silver medallists and host China, Pakistan, Australia and Malaysia will be taking part in the event. The players have been directed to report at Jinnah Sports Complex.

Three players, Zeeshan Ashraf, Adnan Maqsood and Adnan Zakir, who had missed the Moscow event which Pakistan recently won, due to health problems, will report only on production of their fitness certificates.

Probables:

SSGC: Salman Akbar, Sajjad Anwar, Shakeel Abbasi, Mohammad Shabbir, Abbas Haider, Majid Khan.

Wapda: Shakir Munir, Rana Asif, Rehan Butt, Mohammad Zubair, Mohammad Mudassir, Waqas Sharif, Imran Khan.
