Blast kills constable

QUETTA, July 5: A traffic police constable was killed and four people, including another constable, were injured when a powerful bomb exploded in Dera Allahyar town, some 350km east from here, on Thursday.

The locally-made explosive device was fixed to a bicycle parked near a traffic booth at Subatpur Chowk.

The blast damaged a number of cars and motorcycles.

Sources said that condition of two of the injured was serious.
