KARACHI, July 3: Tennis prodigy Syed Zuhair Raza left for Syria the other day to compete in the boys’ ATF U-14 tournament being held there from July 3 to 7.

After completing his assignment, Zuhair will fly to Jordan to feature in the second leg which runs from July 9 to 13.

According to his family sources, the trip has been financed through private sponsorship.

Ranked 15th in Asia in the U-14 category, Zuhair has represented the country twice – first in the ATF Pakistan 14 and Under tournament held at Islamabad in January followed by an ATF event in Delhi in April.
