MIRPURKHAS: 10 injured as two vehicles collide

MIRPURKHAS, July 3: At least 10 persons, including two women and a child, were injured when a pickup collided head-on with a mini truck on Hyderabad-Mirpurkhas road near here on Monday night.

Those injured are residents of Saleh Mohammad Brohi village and include Abdul Rasheed, Atta Mohammad, Khuda Bux, Rehmatullah, Sabir, Shahnawaz, Abdul Rauf, two women and a child whose names could not be ascertained. They were taken to the Mirpurkhas Civil Hospital from where Abdul Rasheed were referred to the Liaquat Medical College Hospital, Hyderabad, due to his precarious condition.

ROBBERY: Four unidentified burqa-clad armed men entered the house of one Saeed Khan Lashari in Satellite town on Monday night and held the inmates hostage at gun point. They looted thousands of rupees in cash, gold ornaments, mobile phones and licensed arms and escaped.
