Flood destroys houses, crop
CHITRAL, June 25: Flood caused by torrential rain washed away a large number of houses and destroyed wheat crop on hundreds of acres of land and orchards in different parts of the district on Monday morning.
Kushum, Rayeen, Terich and Werkup were the worst-affected villages. Residents of the villages, which were inundated, escaped to safe places.
However, no casualty was reported.
