Roof collapse kills 3

HARIPUR, June 3: Three people were killed when the roof of their house collapsed in Mian Dhairi village in Tehsil Ghazi, some 65 kilometres from here on Sunday.

According to the Ghazi police, the family of Syed Mumtaz Shah was asleep in their clay-built single-room house when it caved in early Sunday morning, injuring seriously all three inmates.

The area people reached for their rescue, but they died before any medical treatment.

The Ghazi police SHO told Dawn that the roof was in decayed condition.—Correspondent
