One killed in Balakot accident

MANSEHRA, June 2: A woman was killed and three people were injured when a jeep fell into a deep ravine near Balakot on Saturday, police said. The police said that the jeep was going from Balakot to Khan Geri, some 40 kilometres northeast of Mansehra, when it fell into the ravine while negotiating a narrow turn.

The woman, identified as Khanum Jan, died on the spot. Shah Jehan, Saleem and driver Mahbub were injured and shifted to a local hospital in critical condition.
