‘Sui meeting attended by outsiders’

QUETTA, May 10: Nawabzada Talal Bugti, son of slain Baloch nationalist leader Nawab Akbar Khan Bugti, has claimed that outsiders wearing local dresses had attended Thursday’s gathering in Sui in order to make the visit of President Pervez Musharraf successful.

He said at a press conference at the Bugti House that about 80,000 Bugtis had migrated because of oppression of security forces.

He said deployment of thousands of security personnel in Sui area was enough to prove that the president did not enjoy the support of local population.

He said a conference of the Jamhoori Watan Party (JWP) would be held in Quetta on May 13.—Correspondent
