Senior counsel Iftikhar Gilani on Tuesday said he had declined government’s offer to represent the federation as well as the president in the Supreme Court.
The cases he was asked to pursue, he said, included the petition challenging the filing of the reference against the chief justice and the contempt of court cases against officials of the Islamabad administration and police for manhandling the chief justice.—Staff Reporter
