2 killed over enmity

By Our Correspondent

KOHAT, April 21: Two people were killed in Darmalak village, some 30 kilometers away from here, on Friday evening.

Grandmother of the deceased informed the Lachi police that she heard sounds of intensive firing outside the house.

When she went there, she found her two grandsons, Akbar Badshah, son of Aamil Shah, and Shakir, son of Aashur, lying in a pool of blood. She said she saw Naeem, Romain Shah, Israf and Naveed Akram running towards their house while holding Kalashnikovs.

However, police said five people were involved in the case and two of them, Naeem and Hussain, were arrested. The cause behind the double murder is said to be an old enmity.

The Gulshanabad police during routine checking of bus passengers recovered 14 kilograms of high-quality hashish from the women carriers.
