ISLAMABAD, April 19: The Higher Education Commission (HEC) has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with the Hanyang University, a leading South Korean institution that is among the top 500 universities of the world, as part of its efforts to create linkages with international seats of higher learning.

The agreement was signed during the visit of a two-member delegation led by Hanyang University’s Office of International Cooperation Dean Dr Ki-Jeong Lee, a press release issued by the HEC said.

Under the MoU, HEC scholars will be offered placement in MS (Engineering) programmes offered at the Hanyang University for the next five years. In addition, there will be research exchange programmes. — Our Reporter
