MIRPURKHAS, April 18: District Nazim Dr Sughra Junejo on Wednesday advised parents to let polio drops administered to their children to inoculate them against polio. She said at a meeting at Darbar hall, which was held to review arrangements for three-day polio eradication campaign scheduled for April 24 in the district that the officers should include people in campaign in order to reach every child.

She advised elected representatives and Ulema to tell people about the benefits of the campaign to counter anti-polio campaign propaganda.

DCO Syed Mumtaz Ali Shah directed officers to prepare micro plan for the campaign at union council level and provide it plan to each UC nazim.

WHO's Dr Ahmed, EDO health Dr Hadi Bux Laghari and focal person of the programme Dr Ashfaque Ahmed presented details about list of parents, who refused to get their children vaccinated.

They said it was 62nd round of polio eradication and Mirpurkhas was declared polio free district.
