KARACHI, April 17: Punjab ended their Pentangular Cup campaign on winning note when they outclassed NWFP-Balochistan by an innings and 134 runs at the National Stadium here on Tuesday.
Starting their second innings after trailing by 294 runs on the first, the NWFP-Balochistan side was all out for 160 inside 57 overs on the third day of the four-day match.
Pacemen Imran Ali (3-24) and Wahab Riaz (4-48) shared the bowling honours while slow left-armer Imran Khalid took two for 49 to finish with a match bag of seven for 81.
Earlier, Punjab added 98 to their overnight score of 387 for four. Skipper Misbah-ul-Haq, who resumed at 86, was finally dismissed for 120.
