Warehouse looted

LAHORE, April 15: A dozen robbers took away goods worth Rs10 million from a warehouse belonging to a multinational company at Manga Mandi on Sunday.

Police said the robbers entered the warehouse situated on Multan Road near Maraka by scaling the boundary wall early morning, and held the employees and security guards at gunpoint.

They collected copper wire worth millions of rupees, 25 computers and other valuables, loaded these on a truck and managed their escape.

The police have registered the case.

In an other incident four robbers barged into the house of Ashraf on Bund Road, Islampura, took the inmates hostage at gunpoint, collected cash, jewellery and other valuables worth Rs400,000 and managed their escape.

Two robbers stopped a car rider, Talib Hussain, in Chuhng area, and snatched Rs50,000 and a cell-phone from him.

In Shadman area, Nadeem and his family was deprived of Rs30,000 and a cell-phone.
