Hari seeks release of family

HYDERABAD, April 11: A hari, Chatro who had escaped from the private jail of a zamindar of Sanghar demonstrated demanding release of his 22 family members. According to him, a close relative of zamindar Abdul Rehman Mari, Aachar Mari, Ali Hassan Mari and others had kidnapped his family members and when he tried to lodge a report with the police, he too was locked up and was now being threatened of dire consequences. Ms Qaiser Jehan of Ayub Colony condemned the violent attitude of her husband. She said she works in different homes to earn money as her husband did nothing.—Bureau
