ISLAMABAD, April 10: The Higher Education Commission (HEC) Departmental Development Working Party has approved a project for strengthening the Mechanical Engineering Workshop at Mehran University of Engineering and Technology, Jamshoro.

A press release issued here on Tuesday says that the project aims at strengthening the Mechanical Engineering Workshop by equipping it with latest practical training tools at undergraduate level and providing research facilities to MS engineering.

It will also help establish an industry oriented advanced mechanical engineering facility and provide a mechanism through which computer numerical control (CNC) capabilities shall be enhanced and engineering students and industry professionals will be able to use CNC tools.
