More funds and facilities needed for Kidney Centre: PA

By Saleem Shahid

QUETTA, April 5: Speaker Jamal Shah Kakar and members of the Balochistan Assembly have underlined the need for more funds and facilities for the Kidney Centre, Quetta.

A delegation of the provincial assembly comprising provincial Sports Minister Younus Changezi, MPAs Raheela Durrani, Rehmat Ali Baloch, Shafiq Ahmed Khan, Ambrose John Francis and Abdul Rahim Ziaratwal visited the newly-established kidney centre.

They observed that with the establishment of the kidney centre the government had accepted resolved a longstanding demand of the people who had to go to Karachi and Lahore for the treatment of kidney and other related diseases.

Mr Jamal said: “Establishment of a kidney centre in Quetta is a great achievement.”

Members of the Balochistan Assembly suggested that close contact was necessary between the people and the government for further improvement of the kidney centre.
