KARACHI, April 5: The Board of Intermediate Education, Karachi on Thursday declared the results of HSC-II supplementary examinations 2006 Science General and pre-engineering groups.
As many as 491 male and 261 female students got themselves registered for the Science General group exams of which 469 male and 247 female candidates appeared in while 152 male and only 60 female students were declared successful.
None of the students secured A-1 grade while only one female candidate passed in A grade, one male and 5 female got B grades, 41 male and 36 female secured C grades, 97 male and 17 female got D grades and 13 male and one female passed in E grades.
In pre-engineering group, 4,717 male and 1,711 female candidates were registered of which 4,537 male and 1,639 female appeared in the exams while 1,785 male and 518 female candidates were declared successful.
Only a female candidate secured A-1 grade while 5 male and 1 female students passed in A grades, 36 male and 22 female secured B grades, 312 male and 189 female candidates got C grades, 1,254 male and 298 female secured D grades and 178 male and 8 female students got E grades.—PPI
