KARACHI, April 2: Local marketing companies of liquefied petroleum gas (LPG) have raised the price of 11.8 kilogramme cylinder by Rs20 to Rs540 in the city, following an increase in international prices.
This was stated by the Chairman LPG Distributors’ Welfare Association Hadi Khan here on Monday. He said that the international price of LPG has surged by $34.50 per ton to $540.50 per ton, pushing up local prices by Rs2,105 per ton.
Hadi said the new price will be effective from Tuesday.
He said that the retail price of LPG will be Rs50 per kg in Karachi after a rise of Rs2.—APP
