Short-range missile test-fired

ISLAMABAD, March 31: Pakistan on Saturday successfully test fired nuclear-capable Hatf-II Abdali, one of the locally-developed short-range surface-to-surface ballistic missile.

The Abdali SSM has a range of 200-kilometre and can carry all types of warheads. According to ISPR, the test was conducted to validate the desired technical parameters.

Last week, Pakistan tested a longer range version of its nuclear-capable, radar-dodging cruise missile, the Hatf VII Babur. It has a range of 700 kilometres. —Reporter
