50 injured in pile-up

ISLAMABAD, Jan 19: More than 50 people were injured on Friday in a traffic pile-up due to fog near Attock. Seventeen vehicles including buses ploughed into each other on Khairabad bridge connecting Punjab with the NWFP when a truck applied brakes to avoid collision with a car, a private TV channel reported. Five of the injured were in critical condition, however there were no immediate casualties, police said.—APP
