Talha bowls Azeempura Gym to huge win

KARACHI, Jan 15: Off-spinner Talha Azeem captured eight wickets and Tanvir Hussain slammed an unbeaten century as Azeempura Gymkhana thrashed Sakhi Hasan Gymkhana by 71 runs in a NBP-KCCA Inter Club Cricket Championship match at the Punjab Ground here on Sunday.

Talha captured 8-26 in six overs as Sakhi Hasan Gymkhana were dismissed for 182 in 26.2 overs. Earlier, Tanvir hammered an unbeaten 128 with 13 boundaries to power Azeempura Gymkhana to 253-5 in 40 overs.

Meanwhile, at Al-Mansoora Ground, Pak National Cricket Club defeated PIB Sports by seven wickets. The PIB Sports were dismissed for 72 in 19 overs with off-spinner Mohammad Mushtaq grabbing 6-32 and Azizullah 3-25. Mohammad Mushtaq hit an unbeaten 37 to steer Pak National CC to an easy win in the 12th over.
