15 report to camp

LAHORE, Dec 14: Only 15 out of 22 bowlers, who were reported for suspect bowling action during the current domestic cricket season, will report to the National Cricket Academy (NCA) on Monday to attend the second phase of remedial workout.

A spokesman of the NCA said that in the first phase of remedy the suspended bowlers had to contact their regional development manager and regional development officers but only 15 contacted and now they will attend the second phase.

He said among the seven, who showed no interest for remedial work, two had informed the NCA that they had decided not to carry on with bowling in the future.

After completion of the remedial workout activity, an analysis report of each bowler will be prepared with the help of Quintic Biomechanics Software and will be presented to the PCB Suspect Bowling Action Committee for review and verdict.

Following bowlers will report to the NCA:

Zaheer Aslam (Kasur), Aqeel Ahmed (Faisalabad), Tariq Mahmood (Sialkot), Ihsan Sheikh (Muridke), Ahmed Naseem (Lahore), Nadeem Javed (Sheikhupura), Asad Zahid (Rawalpindi), Munir Ansari (Rawalpindi), Noor-ul-Amin (Mardan), Misbah Khan (Karachi), Aftab Ahmed Khan (Karachi,), Nauman Hussain (Karachi), Irfanuddin (Karachi), Mudassar Manzoor (Mirpurkhas), Agha Sharique (Mirpurkhas).
