KARACHI: NAB walks against corruption

By Our Reporter

KARACHI, Dec 9: Sindh Governor Dr Ishratul Ibad Khan on Saturday called upon citizens to play their role against the menace of corruption as no government alone could tackle this problem.

He stated this during the walk organised by the National Accountability Bureau’s Sindh chapter to observe Anti-Corruption Day.

The walk commenced from Village restaurant on the Sea View and culminated at Mc Donald’s Chowrangi.

The governor was accompanied by NAB Sindh Director General Major General Mukhtar Ahmad, Sindh DG Rangers, and a number of students and government employees. The governor announced Rs10,000 for schoolchildren who participated in the walk.

Major General Mukhtar Ahmad said special operating wing had been established to eliminate corruption from lower level to give relief to the people.
