KARACHI, Dec 8: Seven ships carrying general cargo, containers and to load clinker are due to arrive at the outer anchorage on Saturday, according to KPT sources.

Berthing activity at the wharves was active where five ships, Global Union, tanker, Calvin P.Titus, Oel Aishwarya to unload and load containers, Goldensari Indah to offload coal and Pattaya Navee to unload and load general cargo were berthed after the departures of 10.

The vessels, which departed on Friday included Corin Thaikos, Hyundai Stride, Y.M. Moon, Calvin P. Titus, Mariupol, Pan Dynamic, Sea Rose, Bow de Jin and Global Union, while George, Pattaya Navee and Ju Fu Men are due to sail out on Saturday.

Cargo handling activity at the wharves modest where a total tonnage of 63,772 tons comprising 21,376 tons of export cargo including 14,944 tons of clinker and 42,396 tons of import cargo.

The following ships are due on Saturday: Swat, with crude oil, Oel Esteem, Iran Shahryar, Viking Merilin, with containers, Jaeger, to load 42,500 tons of clinkers, Le Ye, and Wakato, to unload and load containers.
