Two die in road accident

LAHORE, Dec 2: A mother and her son died in a road accident on Saturday. Moazzam Mansoor, 31, his wife Safina Moazzam and mother Rashida Mansoor, 55, were going to Sahiwal on GT Road in a car when a trailer hit the four-wheeler from the rear near Phoolnagar.

Moazzam and Rashida died on the spot while Safina was rushed to the Jinnah Hospital in critical condition.

Moazzam was the brother-in-law of the circulation manager of Pakistan Muslim League News, Noorullah Siddiqui.

PML President Chaudhry Shujaat Husain and chief minister Pervaiz Elahi have expressed grief over the deaths.
