LAHORE, Nov 28: Organising committee of the Doha Asian Games has announced revised soccer draws when Iraq, Syria, Jordan and Kyrgyzstan joined final phase of the event.

They defeated Macau, Tajikistan, Indonesia and Singapore in qualifiers to reach the final phase.

Jordan is drawn in Group ‘A’ and will play hosts Qatar. Other teams in the group are Uzbekistan and the United Arab Emirates.

Another qualifier Kyrgyzstan are included in Group ‘C’ in place of Yemen, after they pulled out of the competition last week. Kyrgyzstan’s debut will be against Kuwait while Thailand and Palestine are other teams in the group.

Another team, coming through the first round, is Syria. They have taken Turkmenistan's place after their refusal to participate in the games. They will join Japan, Pakistan and North Korea in Group ‘F’.

Group ‘B’ remains unchanged and comprises Korea, Bahrain, Vietnam and Bangladesh.

Group ‘D’ consists of Iran, India, Hong Kong and Maldives.

Iraq, the best team in qualifying campaign, will clash with Oman, Malaysia and China in Group ‘E’.

Nov 28: UAE vs Uzbekistan, Qatar vs Jordan, Korea Republic vs Bangladesh, Bahrain vs Vietnam, Thailand vs Palestine, Kuwait vs Kyrgyzstan.

Nov 29: India vs Hong Kong, Iran vs Maldives, Oman vs Malaysia, China vs Iraq, DPR Korea vs Syria, Pakistan v Japan.

Dec 2: UAE vs Jordan, Uzbekistan vs Qatar, Vietnam vs Korea Republic, Bahrain vs Bangladesh, Kyrgyzstan vs Thailand, Kuwait vs Palestine.

Dec 3: India vs Maldives, Hong Kong v Iran, Malaysia vs China, Oman vs Iraq, Syria vs Japan, DPR Korea vs Pakistan.

Dec 5: Thailand vs Kuwait, Uzbekistan vs Jordan, Kyrgyzstan vs Palestine, Korea Republic vs Bahrain, Qatar vs United Arab Emirates, Vietnam vs Bangladesh.

Dec 6: Syria vs Pakistan, Malaysia vs Iraq, Japan v DPR Korea, China vs Oman, Hong Kong vs Maldives, Iran vs India.

Dec 9: Quarter-finals.

Dec 12: Semi-finals.

Dec 14: Bronze-medal match.
