DADU: Minor girl kidnapped, assaulted

DADU, Nov 26: A minor girl was subjected to a criminal assault after being kidnapped from Dadu town. Reports said that two person kidnapped the nine-year-old girl, daughter of Abdul Majeed Jamali, from near her house in Abdullah Colony three days back.

The kidnappers kept her in Sehwan town and criminally assaulted her for three days. Later, they left her on a road of Sehwan town.

The Sehwan police found the girl in an unconscious condition on Sunday and handed her over to Dadu town police. She was admitted to the civil hospital.

On the complaint of Majeed Jamali police registered an FIR against one Sultan Tiwano and another person.

The SHO of the town police, Inspector Mohammad Ayub Brohi, told Dawn that accused, Sultan Ali, had been arrested.

The civil surgeon of the Dadu civil hospital, Dr Ghous Ali Shah, said that reports showed the girl had been criminally assaulted.

The father of the girl said that his daughter had gone to purchase milk from a nearby shop from where Sultan and his accomplice kidnapped her.

The girl also confirmed that Sultan and his friend subjected her to criminal assault.
