Ombudsman asked to ensure justice

ISLAMABAD, Nov 23: Prime Minister Shaukat Aziz has said that the government was committed to address the grievances of the people pertaining to the various government organizations.

The prime minister was talking to the newly appointed Federal Ombudsman, Javed Sadiq Malik, who called on him here on Thursday.

Mr Aziz said the government was trying to ensure good governance in the country and the functioning of the government departments has improved over the years.

He said the institution of Ombudsman had an important role to play regarding the rederessal of public complaints. People could approach the Ombudsman’s office to get their problems resolved.— Our Reporter
