Rainy season in north from 17th

ISLAMABAD, Nov 14: Chief Meteorologist Shaukat Awan predicted on Tuesday that rainy season would start from November 17 and 18 in northern region of the country.

Talking to a private TV channel he said that more chill was being observed in weather with the passage of time and it would continue for next two to three days.

He said that in Sindh, Balochistan and some parts of Punjab, weather would remain dry and there would be no notable change in temperature. But in Azad Kashmir and in the hilly areas, there would be further decrease in temperature due to rain and snowfall and winter season would start from November instead of December in these areas, he added.—APP
