Protest against Bajaur killings

By Our Correspondent

QUETTA, Nov 3: Leaders and activists of the Balochistan chapter of the Jamiat Ulema-i-Islam (Fazl) staged a protest rally against the attack on a seminary in Bajaur Agency.

MNA Maulana Noor Mohammad led the procession from the Jamia Masjid after Friday prayers. The protesters assembled at the Meezan Chowk.

The protesters torched the Stars and Stripes and chanted slogans against President Gen Pervez Musharraf and US President George W. Bush.

Maulana Noor Mohammad said that the war was between infidels and Ummah but the rulers of Muslim states were extending cooperation to the United States and its allies to suppress Muslim movements in Palestine, Lebanon, Iraq and Afghanistan.

Other JUI-F leaders also addressed the procession.
