KARACHI, Nov 3: Establishment of Dow International Medical College is on cards following formal approval of the proposal by the syndicate of Dow University of Health Sciences (DUHS).
VC Prof Masood Hameed Khan, talking to journalists here on Thursday said the proposed college to be run on absolute basis of self-finance will not seek any assistance or funding from the government.
Admission to the 100 seat medical college will also be offered only to overseas Pakistani students and foreign students.
To a question regarding Dr Ishratul Ibad Institute of Oral Health Sciences, he said Pakistan Medical and Dental Council has applied for requisite inspection paving way for regular graduate and post graduate level dental teaching programme.—APP
