KARACHI, Nov 3: Two container ships were accommodated berths at QICT during last 24 hours.Berth occupancy stood at 70 as seven ships, London Senator, Sima Pars, Islamabad, Chemroad Rose, Alexandra-I, Trust Spirit and Navious Gemini-S, were busy in loading and unloading containers, rice, edible oil, seeds, crude oil and iron ore.

A cargo volume of 88,454 tons comprising 76,085 tons of import and 12,369 tons of export tonnage was handled.

Sailing was active as Mumbai Express, London Senator and Sima Pars left the port while Chemroad Rose and Trust Spirit were due to depart. Saudi Diriyah and Opal were expected to take berths at QICT and MPT.
