Dengue fever kits exempted from duty

ISLAMABAD, Oct 30: The Central Board of Revenue (CBR) has exempted import of diagnostic kits and machines of dengue haemorrhagic fever (DHF) from customs duty and sales tax.

The decision was announced through customs notification SRO1076 issued here on Monday to facilitate the import of these machineries to control the outbreak and spread of DHF, which have been reported from different areas.
